Projects / Refurbishment of Ladies Toilet Block

Refurbishment of Ladies Toilet Block

The project aims to sustain and increase the use of the building and attract more individuals and groups and bring people together from different backgrounds. The fittings in the ladies toilets are more than 40 years old and in urgent need of a complete refurbishment to bring them up to the high standard as expected by users of a Village Hall. The committee has had a plan drawn up, not only to replace the fittings but to make some internal alterations to provide a separate junior toilet for the children of the Pre-School and the After School Club who are two of our major users. Along with the internal alterations, it has been decided to construct a new pitched roof on the block over the ladies toilet and the kitchen to replace the the flat roof, which is in great need of repair. This will include improved insulation and therefore will reduce energy loss and cut running costs. As far as possible all new internal fittings will have energy saving measures.
