Refurbishment of Old Toilet Block and Classroom Build, Belvedere Community Centre, Bexley

This is a project to reconfigure the toilets at Belvedere Community Centre, which will provide sufficient space to create a classroom/training room. The facilities would be refurbished as a part of the project. There is currently an original toilet block situated in the main hall, which takes up quite a large area. It is currently configured with two separate sides, one for men and one for women. What this project seeks to achieve is to take the area that is the ladies and create one big space that can be used for a classroom/training area. The men’s side would be divided into two separate toilets for men and women, within each of which would be an ambulant accessible toilet, a fully disabled accessible shower and baby changing facilities. This new configuration would provide extra space and will also provide a space for local classes for adult and child education and for use by community groups.
