Refurbishment of Public Amenities at the Jenner Museum, Berkley

The major element of this project is the refurbishment of the public toilet block in The Old Cyder House. The existing toilets date from the 1980s, are showing their age, and are growing ever more difficult to maintain. In particular, properly-equipped toilet facilities for the disabled will be established, together with a baby-change facility. The boiler supplying the toilets, the conference rooms and office is a museum piece (sic) and requires replacement by a modern and environmentally-friendly unit. Finally, a (rotting) window in the staff kitchen and a non-compliant fire door in the downstairs conference/refreshment room will also be replaced.
