Refurbishment of Ruabon Play Area

The project is for the substantial refurbishment of Ruabon Play area.

The park is in need of substantial refurbishment though the Council wishes to retain the three pieces of equipment which are in better condition to reduce the amount of funding required. The project will involve removal of obsolete equipment and installation of new equipment which offer modern and high play value including safer surfacing. The new equipment is based on the preferences of children and their parents during two consultation events. A third consultation event will be held as part of the evaluation of tenders for the park to help select the preferred provider.
