REFURBISHMENT OF RYE CRESCENT PLAY AREA, BOURTON ON THE WATER

The project will refurbish a significantly underused play area located in a very small space surrounded by residential properties. It aims to provide a more appealing and inclusive play facility which also takes account of privacy issues for the neighbouring residents. The area will be expanded and an adventure trail will be installed with wheelchair-friendly elements, including a grassed mound which local children identified as an element that all children can enjoy, and which would also be particularly attractive to those in wheelchairs. The project will provide a more challenging and attractive play area for the 2-14 age range which will encourage more young people to play actively and safely close to their homes and in harmony with the neighbouring population.
