Regenerating Standon and Puckeridge Playground

This project will redesign and refurbish the village playground in Standon & Puckeridge creating a safe, modern, community play space with play equipment to challenge and entertain children of different age groups and abilities. It will also provide more seating and shaded areas which the current park lacks. The current park is 30 years old and beyond economic repair.

Providing this facility will improve the quality of health, life and well-being of local children and their families and it will enhance the quality of the social and built environments in a rural location. It will also reduce the need for travel to other similar facilities, in an area poorly served by public transport.
