Regeneration of Meades Water Gardens – Chesham

The Meades Water Gardens is an area of land straddling the River Chess in Chesham. The project aims to restore a widened, degraded section of the River Chess back to classic Chalk stream habitat and to rehabilitate the public gardens, through which the river runs, to provide a valuable public amenity. The River will flow through the site with extensive, low lying wet reed beds. New paths and interpretation will provide the public improved access to the site and information as to the purpose of the restoration and ongoing management.
