Regeneration of park – Phase 3

This project is part three of a community driven improvement programme. Phase one involved a New play park.
Phase 2 involved drainage of the main sports field area. Renovation of the running track, seating and banking, stairway & lighting- these changes are in progress at the moment -cost £313000

Phase 3 objective is to replace a fence to help the safety of those running on the track and to renew the pathway from the running track to the Manse road on the opposite side of the village, so that this popular walking route is improved and made adequate for disabled users and all others. This would allow all to enjoy the pathways for liesurly walks or to enjoy the activities in this large sports area. As the contractor is on site it would help reduce costs if this could be done soon.
