Projects / Regeneration of St Budeaux Church Community Hall

Regeneration of St Budeaux Church Community Hall

The aim of the total project as above is to upgrade and improve the facilities, access and amenities so that its use can be extended to more local people in the community and the wider public within Plymouth and area. Having been built in the 1960s it is needing modernisation to meet with today's health and safety requirements and we felt that its users deserved better. This Phase is for the replacement of the Main Hall roof, which is leaking and has already been repaired several times. We are now advised it has to be replaced and as it is the most used room in the building it is vital that this work is carried out so people can carry on meeting here. Many groups, secular and non-secular meet here regularly and rely on coming to the Hall to combat social isolation. The Hall is situated in a deprived area of Plymouth and centrally situated to offer fellowship, fun and opportunities to share time together.
