Remediation of Contaminated Land at Alton

The site was previously used as a tyre depot. The site, historically, had been occupied by a gas works company and gasholders have been there since the 1870s. The site is contaminated and requires remediation to enable future beneficial use of the site by a non-profit making Housing Association.
