Renewable Energy System at Community Hub

The installation of a renewable energy system and rain water harvesting system within the new Community Hub serving the rural communities of Eassie Nevay and Kirkinch. ENKCA secured by their own efforts the funding to secure the demolition and rebuilding of their old hall which had been declared unsafe. Energy efficiency was one of the main aims for their new community hub with a total of CO2 savings per annum of 4.25 tonnes. Also the reduction in energy and water charges will be passed on to the users of the facility through lower costs
