Renovating victorian school for modern use

Our Community centre is an historic, listed building in a semi-rural location within Telford. It is currently in use by many local groups. The building is urgently in need of repairs to the floor, and requires sound proofing between the main hall and the Coalbrookdale Scout Group upstairs. We also urgently require new lighting.
After much local discussion our project was finalised to relace the old carpet tiled floor with a new wooden floor, sound proof between the main hall and upstairs and replace the poor lighting in the main hall. The project also incorporates raising the level of the floor in the main hall to improve disabled access and build a new access into the building incorporating improved fire escape facilities and a door beween our two rooms to improve the heating in the main hall.
