Renovation of Canolfan Trefor

Over the years the condition of the building has deteriorated and the Committee have had to patch up the
roof as and when leaks appear. The condition of the building has deteriorated further and is now affecting programmed activities and discouraging and causing general inconvenience to users.The work is considered critical to conform with health, safety and hygiene standards and essential to maintain the building in a windproof and watertight condition.This has also resulted in increased maintenance bills. On advice a new roof has been identified to address the situation, which will reduce the identified problems and also save on heating bills.
The main needs are to:
• Re-roof the centre building
• Insulate the roof
• New pvc double glazed windows and doors.
