Renovation of Church Tower Cladding, Clock Face and Weathervane

The last quinquenial report identified the very urgent need to replace some of the ninety year old oak shingles on the church tower. Refurbishment of the clock face and the weathervane were also recommended.

The project is to replace the damaged shingles to prevent water damage to the interior of the grade 1 listed church. The clock face and the weather vane will also be refurbished at the same time as this work will be better value for money if done at the same time while scaffolding is available.
