Repair of Roof at Church of Sacred Heart, Boho

The planned roof restoration will be the first major works in over 100 years. Our in house engineer has confirmed that the planned works will be enduring and confirms a sustainability period in excess of 50 years. The parish priest has confirmed that the chapel will be restored to the same high standard as the other 2 churches in the parish, which have been completely restored over the past few years. The objectives are:
– To have a comfortable and safe church, suitable to hold weekly masses, funerals, weddings, baptisms and ecumenical services with the local Church of Ireland parishioners.
– Have a local church for the community which will reinforce the sense of tradition and heritage of the area.
– A church that will require minimal maintenance over the next 50 years.
– Create a sense of pride in the community with local church facilities that will help enthuse and lead to a thriving local community
– To have a building that is in sympathy with the natural environment it is located in.
