Repair to Listed Window Frames Drumachose Church

Drumachose Presbyterian Church is a place of worship and the Church and surrounding grounds are owned by the parish. The Church is open to the public all evening and weekends by any member of the public.
For our proposed works we don’t need any planning approval or consents. The current window frames of Drumachose Presbyterian Church are rotting. This deterioration has led to the need for urgent repair work to the window frames. The window frames are now letting in draughts and damp. This will lead to a situation of not being able to use the church for Worship if the frames are not replaced. The rotted window frames have led to the stained-glass windows now getting damaged without the support of good window frames. We plan to replace the window frames with the help of a specialist joinery company who will replace them and keep within our heritage in local craftsmanship. The repairs to the stained glass windows will be completed by another specialist firm.
