Repair to Organ

The organ ‘Upper Swell’ has been damaged through lack of humidity during the COVID outbreak when the church was locked with no air circulating in it. The components of the upper swell dried out so that it cannot be tuned properly. The upper swell needs to be removed from the organ, taken to the engineer's workshop, repaired, and returned to the organ.

St Andrew's Church is a fully functioning Anglican church. There are at least three regular services per month, including Remembrance, Christmas and Easter services. From year to year, there is a varying programme of baptisms, weddings, funerals, thanksgiving services and primary school services for the local community and others associated with the parish.

The church is a focal point of the community, providing a celebratory site for everyday faith and the important occasions in people's lives. To have the organ properly tuned will be an enhancement to attendees' experience.
