Repairs to Church Tower

A recent inspection by roped access confirmed that the lead flashings on the ridges of the square pyramid tower top are loose and have let water in. The timber underneath is rotten and it and the flashings need replaced with associated removal and re-fixing of slating. We have obtained 2 quotations, the cheapest of which is some £21,000 to do the repairs including scaffold access etc. This from a respected Edinburgh based company called K2. In addition, there will be Architects fees for acting as Project Manager and CDM co-ordinator.
