Repairs to Clock, St Lawrence Church, North Wingfield

Works identified as necessary during annual maintenance visit including repair to hammer, filling of holes & repainting. The project will ensure that the clock keeps reliable time and has an improved tone. The clock has been a local landmark for hundreds of years. It is situated promiently on the tower of grade I listed church of St Lawrence on the main A6175 road leading from Clay Cross to junction 29 of the M1.
