Replace the existing heating system in the Clubhouse

We currently use some 6000 litres of oil to heat our club and provide hot water for the showers. The new Grant Vortex boiler will be 40% more efficient than the old one and should provide savings in the region of £2000 per annum. The heating has to be currently put on 3 hours in advance of the clubhouse being used to provide any sort of heat in the building and likewise for the showers to be used. There will be a substantial saving in the time needed to heat the building and water and associated costs with the new boiler and new radiators. Our premises are widely used not only by members but by the local community and a more efficient heating system will complement and extend our efforts to make the building more attractive, safe and welcoming thus aiding further growth and usage.
