Replace the unsafe fencing at Hallen AFC, Bristol

The aim of the project is to replace the fencing surrounding the main pitch at Hallen AFC. Over the past couple of winters the safety of the surrounding fence has been called into question due to its age and blowing over in windy conditions. Teams of volunteers are repeatedly repairing the fence. Unfortunately, the fence has now come to the end of its lifespan (it’s been up for 15 years). In places it is now rotten and unrepairable. The reason for the replacement is due to health and safety concerns primarily, although the club has suffered from antisocial behavior due to people being able to push their way through the fence and get onto the pitch causing damage which has a detrimental effect on the surface and games that can be played.
