Replacement of Crockham Hill Playground

Crockham Hill Playground is the only recreational provision in the village. The existing equipment is more than 30 years old, outdated, uninspiring and only appeals to children under eight. It is obsolete and showing signs of dilapidation.
The aim of the project is to replace the playground with more creative and adventurous equipment that will offer more challenging play opportunities and additional equipment designed to engage older children up to twelve years old. The equipment selected also includes inclusive equipment to ensure the facility is accessible to all children. The supplier selected, Playdale, was felt to best meet the design brief.
