Replacement of lift for the disabled

There are three rooms on the first floor of the Victoria Rooms. They are reached by a staircase with 31 steps and two right angle turns. A platform lift was installed over thirty years ago..It has broken down and the lift company can no longer get spare parts. The lift therefore must be replaced. Until this happens, the disabled are unable to access the first floor.
