Replacement of Millbrook Mead walkway

To replace the existing increasingly broken and rotten hybrid wooden/plastic boardwalk to a modern standard and enable more people to use the permissive path joining two key areas of the Parish. The improved access will also enable more people to enjoy the wetland environment it runs through.

The walkway is very well used and is missed when it has to be closed for maintenance both from an access point of view and from those enjoying the peace of the nature area. In a recent survey to understand parishioners’ priorities for allocating our CIL funds it was one of the top 10 mentioned.
