Replacement Roof at Staines Boat Club

This project seeks funding for a replacement roof at Staines Boat Club. The Club has been part of the local community since its foundation in 1851 and actively encourages and promotes participation in rowing. The Club also provides boating facilities for a local school and University. Membership is open to all and the Club also holds a number of events throughout the year which are open to non members.
The exisiting clubhouse was constructed in 1951. The main fabric of the building is sound however the roof is now beyond practicable repair, liable to leaks and energy inefficient.
Funding is sought to remove the existing asbestos roof and install insulated steel roof sheeting helping secure the long-term future of the Club.
