Reputations April 2005 – May 2006

Reputations, a public art programme with an emphasis on the open spaces and environment of Castlemilk ‘It aims to get everyone in the area to help make Castlemilk a better place to live and work through environmental improvements and personal, social and community development opportunities for people of all ages’.

The project involves 6 artists from Canada, Europe, and Great Britain, with the environment of Castlemilk as their subject matter. The project provides a method of widely publicising these objectives. The themes include biodiversity planting through existing woodland, roof shelters in the park, mosaic designed with children from Castlemilk
