Reroofing of Church Hall, St Faith and St Laurence Church, Harborne, Birmingham

This is a project to repair the roof of the Church Hall at St Faith and St Laurence Church, Harbourne, Birmingham. The Church Hall is a building widely used by local community groups as well as the church. The roof is leaking and a patch repair will only go so far to help the situation. The advice of the applicant’s architect includes: the removal of existing roof covering, fitting new roof membrane, felt, new UPVC guttering and downpipes. Once the roof is replaced, some redecoration of the rooms where water damage has already been incurred will be needed. The project will also improve insulation and make the building watertight and serviceable into the future.
