Research to assist the regeneration of "Brownfield" sites in Stoke on Trent

To extend a previous analysis of brownfield and vacant industrial buildings in Stoke on Trent. The proposed extension of this work will look at all types of brownfield, the surrounding land uses of the unused sites and overlay this with data relevant to the redevelopment decision making process. The proposal is a research initiative applied locally, building upon the previous large-scale project carried out bt the applicant "the National Brownfield Research Project", which was a £500k project funded by Shanks plc and BG Property Solutions under the Landfill Tax Credit Scheme.
