Respite Garden at St Mary's Church, Balham SW12

To provide a public 'Respite Garden' on a part of the Church grounds to the south of the Church, accessible through a keypad. There are 4 target groups (OAPs, Mums and Toddlers, Shoppers and Lunchers ). The Balham Town Centre Partnership identified the lack of a green space close to Balman Town Centre. The project is in 3 phases: 1 To clear, level and prepare the site so that these target users can see its potential 2 To market the garden to representatives of those 4 user groups to design and specify what they want therein 3 To synthesise this and provide such facilities To date we have completed Phase 1
