Restoration of Houghton Cemetery Lych Gate and War Memorial

The Lych Gate at the entrance to the Parish Cemetery and the War Memorial within the cemetery are in urgent need of restoration/repair. The supports to the Lych Gate are rotten and as a result the whole structure needs major restoration work in the interests of public safety. The War Memorial requires work to maintain and ensure the safety of the structure. The cemetery is available to all residents of the parish and those closely connected to it.
