Restoration of Joseph Lancaster School, Hitchin - Grade II listed

To restore the old school building to create an important national centre of educational and social history in Hitchin. The site holds the last remaining Lancastrian schoolroom in the world, which demonstrates its importance. A restoration plan is being developed with English Heritage.
