The organ is currently in a poor state, particularly the pipework and general construction. Missing and collapsed pipes render the organ to be almost unplayable.•
Restoration to include: Drawstops to be placed above keyboard with new mechanical links to sliders & console woodwork remade
• Case to be raised up 6 inches in preparation for pedalboard
• Case woodwork & pipes to be stripped & refinished
• Rack pillar height to be increased from 3” to 4½”
• Conveyed Gedackt 8’ bass at rear of organ to be relocated on soundboard
• Open Diapason 8’ to be supplied & fitted on front spare slide incorporating up to 20 speaking front pipes F6-C25 – front pipe action to be scrapped & front pipes to be conveyed directly from soundboard
• Pipes to be revoiced/rescaled/replaced to give best possible sound – missing ones to be supplied
