Restoration of the Ellenroad Chimney

The Chimney at Ellenroad Engine House was built in 1892.
It has been maintained regularly by the Ellenroad Trust since 1986 but this is becoming increasingly expensive. It is considered that a major overhaul would reduce the burden of the maintenance costs.
The Chimney is a first class example of a Victorian chimney and is a major landmark for the area.
