Restoration of the Hew Scott Hall, St Nicholas Tower & Town Hall, Anstruther

Restoration of a buildings group in Anstruther comprising 2 Category A and 1 Category C listed buildings currently at risk through severe fabric decay, thus safeguarding a key historic architecture feature and visitor attraction with the town. This will in turn provide support for a wider Townscape Heritage Initiative within Anstruther to achieve its social and economic regeneration as the main centre of the East Neuk of Fife, an area formerly based upon the fishing industry but with its decline, now dependent on local tourism industry. Additionally, safeguarding the current use of the buildings group for community activities, thereby supporting local community cohesion and participation.
