Restoring a lost landscape linking east and central Fife

The project is to complete a path network for visitors to Coalpit Den and Maspie Den. Fife Environment Trust’s contribution will enable FHT and partners to complete and enhance a path network for a variety of users, including disabled people using scooters, mountain bikers and walkers plus general landscape enhancement. It will also fund a link route between Falkland (in the Howe of Fife) and Craigmead car park (serving Leslie, Glenrothes and Central Fife ). In addition the overall project willcreate a valuable wildlife corridor, extending the diverse habitat of Maspie Den. All planting will be with native species
