Restoring and Increasing Facilities to Club House

The club house needs refurbishment in many areas with the fabric of the building being of high priority. The balcony needs better railings to make it more child safe. Better boat washdown facilities and concrete hard standing are also needed.

The main roof of the building has over the years had repairs carried out but now needs replacing with a more modern and durable material. The balcony which is used in the summer needs better safety fencing making them safer for young children it also requires some structural work. Some of the original windows are in need of urgent repairs which would be a high priority. Some areas of the building are in urgent need of brickwork repairs and rendering together with a re-paint. We also need to improve the drainage and provide better wash down facilities for boats with a new concrete hard standing.The fact that we are right next to the sea makes the building very vulnerable to weather and sea spray so we need to improve the building to stand up to these conditions.
