This is a project to restore a Mediaeval Village Pound in the village of Arlingham.The Mediaeval Village Pound in Arlingham holds significant historical and cultural importance, serving as a representation of the village’s heritage. As part of a larger conservation effort, the restoration and preservation of the pound will not only retain the area’s historical identity, but create a thriving biodiversity hotspot for insects, bees, birds, bats, toads, newts, wildlife, and wildflowers. The project aims to protect the environment, enhance biodiversity, and maintain the pound as a public amenity for both villagers and visitors to enjoy.
