Restoring Upper Aire Wet Woodland

The project aims to restore wetland habitats associated with the Upper River Aire, including the BAP habitat wet woodland, to help form a green corridor along the river within which wildlife can thrive. It will also help towards achieving the objective of ‘good’ overall condition for the catchment by 2021 under the WFD framework (currently classed as ‘moderate’).
