Restoring Wetlands for wildlife and people at Ham Wall

The project aims to improve areas of habitat at RSPB Ham Wall nature reserve. This will be done through the purchase of equipment to enable more efficient reedbed and water management. Pontoons will enable us to access areas of the reserve more easily and will allow us to support and encourage birds to breed on the reserve. A new otter holt will support our thriving otter population. We will create new wetland habitat that will be easily accessed by visitors giving them the chance to get up close to nature.
