Resurfacing of 2 carpet courts

The project comprises resurfacing our top 2 tennis courts with a specially designed carpet playing surface. These courts were originally tarmac but were first covered with carpeting in 2000. Large areas of the carpet are now worn and dangerously slippery. It is also likely that some work will need doing on the tarmac substrate once the old carpeting is removed. Any funds awarded will be put towards the cost of buying and installing a carpet surface to cover 2 tennis courts, plus any work necessary to repair the tarmac surface underneath the existing carpet. The surface is expected to last for about 20 years. The 3rd court was resurfaced in 2014 thanks to funding through SITA Trust and is still in excellent condition.
