Revealing Gilbert White

To work with young people to re-design our Gilbert White displays promoting
and explaining Gilbert’s significant contribution to our understanding of the
environment and climate change. The project will refresh the interpretation of Gilbert White in the museum & reach out through social media and nature recording activities to reveal the importance of Gilbert White’s life & work to our current understanding of the natural world & climate change.
Refresh our Gilbert White museum displays, putting his life into context, explaining his work to understand the interconnectedness of the natural world & to record changing seasonal events, showing how he and his great book have inspired those that followed
Involve young people in decision making to design & deliver the refreshed displays, to ensure that stories & messages are relevant to their interests
