Revitalisation of Uffington Footpaths, Phase 2

Our overall aim is to convert all the stiles on Uffington’s recognised Footpaths (FP) to kissing gates. Phase 1 replaced 13 stiles with kissing gates on FP 387/18, 19 and 27 in 2021; we now wish to move on to Phase 2 of that project with a similar improvement to FP 26, replacing 3 stiles with gates. This will be of great benefit to many people, residents and visitors, old and young, who will find it much easier to use this FP when it has kissing gates rather than stiles.
