Revitalization of the Robert Monk Hall

Improvement of services in the 78 year old village hall to make the facilities more suitable and environmentally friendly for the hirers. All users were consulted in 2008 to establish their needs to improve the facilities at the hall for the long -term future. Designs were completed and a planning application was approved in December 2008. By this process we will have a new and much more efficient heating system, a hot water system with a renewal energy element, new low-energy lighting to all our major rooms and refurbishment of the main hall panelling, relocation of the male toilet and some utility storage.
