Ridgmont Station – Back on Track

Ridgmont Station is a redundant grade II listed building. BRCC wants to bring it back into life and preserve it for future generations to use and appreciate. We want it to be a local “hub” for community activities and a heritage centre linked to the history of the line and of the brick industry it served. We intend to refurbish the whole buiding to provide a local meeting room and cafe and also preserve the original Victorian booking hall, which will become the heritage display area, housing exhibitions relative to both the line and to the brickworks.
