Ringway Play Area, nr Ellesmere Port – Improvement Scheme (5946/D)

The current play area only has three pieces of play equipment and a pair of mini football goals both of which will be retained as they are used by local children. To expand and broaden play opportunities three new pieces of equipment will be installed along with natural play features such as boulders & mounding and safety surfacing. The new scheme includes improving access to provide year round access to the play area and comply with DDA standards. Soft landscaping improvements are also included such as tree planting, hedges and bulb planting to provide seasonal interest, encourage biodiversity and provide screenage for residents in closest proximity to the site. We will also install seating and a waste bin. Provision of a new entrance gate will make the site more inviting whilst helping to prevent unauthorised vehicles accessing the site.
The Trust grant will contribute towards the play area improvements.
