Riparian wildlife corridor (River Thame)

To acquire a 1.6 hectares, 500-metre strip of flood meadow, with 800 metres of riverbank lying on the east bank of the River Thame within Oxfordshire CTA No. 27, and rebuild biodiversity by creating a wildlife corridor.

The project will include installing a post and 2 wire fence, stabilising river banks, tree management, surveying wildlife, soil and water conditions. Improve biodiversity by planting locally sourced native trees and scrub. The riverbank vegetation will be managed to create a mosaic of habitats. Interpret the site for visitors.
