Rise Park, Romford – Playground Improvements (007676)

Originally installed in 2010, the play area at Rise Park has been well used, however now contains outdated equipment and is need of renovation. Extending the playground boundary, replacing outdated play equipment and installing new junior equipment. The play area sits within a natural depression which unfortunately retains rainwater during heavy downpours. This has lead to the playground being shut several times and increased erosion to paths and safety surfacing. Therefore in addition to the physical play improvement, this project will address flooding issues by installing targeted drains which will flow into a nearby water course.
