River Ash Walk

The project involves the re-grading, hard surfacing and improvements to the signage of the public footpath around the edge of Sunbury Golf Course, itself a reclaimed former landfill site.
It is an 1,000 metre section of the overall River Ash Walk strategic path linking Staines and the Thames Path at Walton Bridge and will improve access to the public including those on wheelchairs and will assist in eliminating illegal motorcycle access
Increased public usage of the path will also result in greater appreciation of the flora and fauna surrounding the River Ash
