River Eden, An Accessible Paradise Project – Footpath/access improvements

This project aims to facilitate easier access to the landscape and heritage of the whole Eden catchment area, for people of all abilities and including physical and intellectual access. It also hopes to demonstrate the interaction of the local economy, landscape heritage and tourism, encouraging the full participation of local people.
It is hoped to raise the awareness of the important, natural and man made heritage of the Eden catchment and its value as a generator of economic viability in the rural area.
