River Nene Dragon Finder

Froglife will be working on 7 wildlife sites along the River Nene and its tributaries. We will be creating 17 ponds, restoring 16 ponds & 1 ditch and enhancing 52 terrestrial habitats. We will deliver a volunteer training programme at each site and will install interpretation boards at 4 sites. The River with its tributaries provide excellent connectivity between the sites, and the sites form a stepping stone habitat along the river. The sites are inter-connected by other sites such as Nene Park to Broadwalks to Thorpe Wood. Connectivity is further enhanced through ditches drains, woodland and countryside.
